More and more of our lives are going digital. But not everyone can use digital content in the same way. I make your content easier to understand and more accessible – with Plain Language or Easy Language texts and accessible video. I’m also happy to act as the link between developers, creatives and clients when it comes to implementation and project management. I work in line with current standards such as WCAG 2.2 and EN 301 549.

Why does accessibility matter to me?
In my work for companies, start-ups and agencies, I’ve worked on many websites, texts and digital content. Accessibility didn’t play much of a role for a long time. At some point, I started asking myself: Why not – and how can we make content more accessible?
That question turned into a topic I kept exploring in more and more depth. First with Easy and Plain Language, then with digital accessibility as a whole. Today, I combine this knowledge with my experience in content, communication and project management. Because good digital content shouldn’t just look good and work well – it should be usable and understandable for as many people as possible.
Easy Language texts
The amount of work involved in editing a text always depends on its quality and complexity. Send me your text and I can give you an estimate. If you’d like to see how I work first, I also offer a sample edit for a fixed fee, which is deducted from the final fee if we go on to work together. That way, we both get a feel for whether it’s a good fit.
Accessible video
Videos can be optimised for accessibility afterwards, from audio description and technical requirements to adapted captions. But it’s even better to make them accessible from the start. I can support you with both.
Accessibility project management
Developers aren’t always fully up to speed on accessibility – or sometimes you simply need someone to bridge the gap between clients, companies and the IT department. I can support you by setting up a clear process and keeping track of all the to-dos.

Accessible video for Lebenshilfe e.V.
How can access to important information be made easier for people with cognitive disabilities? Lebenshilfe e. V. commissioned us to create an explainer video on the topic of incorporating accessibility into their own projects.
From the initial idea through to implementation, I worked on the project from start to finish. After developing the objectives, target audience and requirements for the video, I created the concept for the content and visual design and wrote the script in Easy Language. I also coordinated the production as an animated film. The final video was reviewed by a test group.
