Exped Tribe

Exped Tribe’s mission is to make expeditions to remote and unique places possible. They offer adventure seekers and mountain enthusiasts authentic adventures in hard-to-reach destinations, as well as exciting courses and tours in Switzerland.

I was originally brought in simply to edit a travel feature. Instead, it turned into a complete rewrite about a volcano expedition in Kamchatka, followed by a second article about an ice-climbing trip in Iceland. Based on notes and written interviews, I wrote both features about their experiences – from snowstorms and encounters with bears to climbing volcanoes and exploring glacial caves. Both articles were published in the outdoor magazine Freeman’s World.
